Criss Cross French Braids

When I can't think of a good hairstyle, I either leave my hair down or put it up in a french braid. This day I was feeling ambitious with a french braid and my roommate was willing to lend me her hair. To make a criss cross pig tail french braids, section the hair into 4 equal sections making a "t" just below the crown of the head. Start by leaving 2 opposite sections out (1 and 4 or 2 and 3).

French braid the top section aiming towards the middle of the "t". When you reach the middle, continue to braid and begin to grab the hair in the bottom opposite section. Continue to braid in the same downward direction. Now, braid the other upper section. This time when you reach the other braid, braid normally a few times not grabbing new hair until the braid is over and passed the first braid. Then continue braiding down. Put some hair rubber bands in and you're done!

You did an amazing job with these braids. I wish my kiddos would sit still enough for me to do that.
