In January, I asked for your advice on whether to do a more modern (wonky) version of a log cabin quilt. Your comments helped me be brave enough to go for it! And not go for it. (I'm wayward, what can I say?)
This is how the quilt turned out:
Front- wonky log cabin. Nine wonky blocks with a fussy cut center.
Back- a big, traditional log cabin block to show I can cut straight.
I did free form motion quilting with a rayon thread on the blocks.
I stippled the sashing.
This is my first quilt with my new machine, and I loved it.
