More Easy Tailoring

Remember this from three weeks ago? Well I took a stab at another piece in my closet that I got at a consignment sale for cheap.

Here is the original:

This one was a little different since it had a lining. There were 5 inner panels. I picked the same seam on both sides on the right and left- I think you can just do one though.

I turned the piece inside out through one of the holes. I measured again with the clothes pins :) and pinned where they were and sewed up the sides.

I turned it right side out and pinned the lining and sewed it with a small seam allowance.

Then I enjoyed it!

I think I might still do a little fine tuning but these tailoring activities have gone far too smoothly. I think waywardness is around the corner :) Have you tried it yet? You should!
